Context Step 1
The Cognita Group, which operates in the market in the management of bilingual schools, arrived in Brazil for the purchase of two schools. A series of measures to professionalize management and governance was implemented, including the implementation of the Corporate Climate Survey. Its result revealed important and delicate aspects and needed to be clearly disclosed to the teams in a context of discomfort and distrust regarding the research objectives and the corporate commitment to refer to the points raised by it.
The meetings negotiated with each school and a central office had moments of collective understanding of the data from a visual synthesis of their results, while the moments of inter and intra conversation shared to share perceptions, thus investigating the nature of their interactions and the positive and negative effects caused. The collective maturation of suggestions of routing for the main issues for the process.
Results
During the meeting, the involvement of the participants was remarkable. The clarity of understanding of the presented results. and greater confidence in the organization’s intentions paved the way for collective work. The access of each participant to other points of view broadened the perception of the professionals and led to the construction of a shared vision of the context with greater commitment in the referrals.
